You're not crazy.

Remember puberty?, remember your kids' puberty?  It ain't pretty, you're shuddering for a reason.  You're going through another one -- perimenopause and menopause.  You deserve informed care, treatment, and information.  Start here with Dr. Jen Gunter's appearance on Glennon Doyle's We Can Do Hard Things podcast

You are exhausted and deserve rest

You cannot go on an empty tank, you cannot go on fumes.  In order to go, you must rest and refuel.  This is your permission and your prescription to do so.  Go to bed early, have a cup of coffee in the morning by yourself in quiet, have a cup of tea after lunch, do a five-minute meditation at the end of your work day.  You can't go without water.  I'm telling you here, you also can't go without rest.

You don't have to feel guilty

Albert Ellis called it "shoulding on yourself" and what you do when you hear that red-flag word is replace it with "am able to and would like to."  Check out my interactive quiz to see if your shoulds are your own, or someone else's internalized agenda.
